The Aries Assessment System (AAS) is an online learning management system designed to collect, validate and aggregate student data. AAS allows students to complete online-exams and receive immediate feedback. It also enables professors, instructors, administrators and researchers to view aggregate information from a single location. The information can be requested based on various report attributes to be used for comparison and analysis. Researchers can extract data for statistical analysis, track assessment records, and compile profiles from current locations and completion records.

As an application service provider Aries helps customers decrease maintenance costs and allows them to focus on the business of learning. Security & Compliance

The AAS employs username and password access to ensure confidentiality and security at all levels and can integrate with operating system security for administrative tasks.

After verification at login the user is assigned the role associated with their username. The screens, functions and information the user interacts with are then based on their role within the AAS.

Exam Management and Analysis

The AAS offers convenient exam management and analysis. Instructors can activate exams from a series of exam banks based on what is made available for the learner. All exams can then be activated manually or set with an advance activate/deactivate time frame. Exam questions are randomly generated from the test bank and instructors have the capability to generate aligned assessments and create custom exam questions to help ensure accountability. Reports on individual, class and system results can be compiled and used for analysis as well as for aggregate administrator reports.

Grade Book

Instructors are also provided with the convenience of an online grade book within the LMS. Grades from exams can be monitored and tracked and instructors have the ability to input grades for work done outside the system manually as well. Individual and class reports can then be quickly generated to track long-term performance.
